CHURCH ON A HILL
In Knarvik, a small town on the west coast of Norway, the church holds an important position as the cultural provider for the community and a center for the local Christian society. The church will be essential in supporting a safe childhood environment and be a platform for cultural development in Knarvik.
The church is carefully placed in the terrain with proportions that respect and harmoniously blend into the landscape. The connection with the town square below is emphasized through a simple and elegant pathway, while most of the terrain is left untouched.
